TD on TV!

We are extremely proud to announce that we will be making our TV debut in 2008 for The Discovery Channel’s ‘How do they do it?’ Filming and editing is now being completed for the third series of the top technology show that explores the weird and wonderful production processes for items and products we take for granted in daily life.

The natural successor for those fascinated by factory films, ‘How do they do it?’ gets under the surface of manufacturing procedures and has chosen to dedicate a complete episode to explore and reveal the mysteries of vehicle wrapping.

We were really thrilled to have been selected from all other wrapping companies by the Discovery Channel’s production company to highlight the concept.

Managing Director Adrian Rope says, ‘We are often met blank faced when we start to talk about what we do and how we do it! To have this opportunity to educate people on a national scale about exactly what makes vehicle wrapping the cutting edge choice for commercial vehicle transformation is fantastic. The Discovery Channel made the experience even more of a pleasure by sourcing a Lotus Exige for us to wrap in a striking Union Jack flag design, whilst they took care to film every step of the way.’

‘How do they do it?’ follows the complete start-to-finish process of wrapping a vehicle. From the initial meetings where the design was created and planned by our design team, to Avery Dennison’s production headquarters in the Netherlands where the production company investigated how the wrapping film is manufactured, back to the UK where Totally Dynamic produced the wrap in their head office production facility and finally performing the intricate wrap at the wonderful design centre at Lotus Cars in Hethel, Norfolk.
