Hooray for Grey!

According to colour experts Pantone, the colour of the year for 2019 is Living Coral: “an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.”

However, the love for coral does not appear to be tranferring into the vehicle wrapping world. According to Totally Dynamic customers, their colour of the year is grey!

Softer and more mysterious than black, grey has long been a popular colour choice for owners of supercars and other high-end vehicles.

This year Totally Dynamic vehicle wrapping centres are seeing lots of requests for grey colour change wraps. With a fantastic range of possibilities in terms of texture and shade, we can see why.

Some customers are opting for a ‘traditional’ high gloss, single tone grey, creating a high-shine effect. Whether on a stormy day or in bright sunshine; a freshly buffed, gloss grey finish will always look impressive.

Matte vinyl vehicle wraps are still extremely popular, with grey being a firm favourite. Creating a cool, urban street-style, a matte grey wrap adds an understated, yet super-stylish, finish to any vehicle.

You might think that grey is grey, but the range in tones and finishes is vast: from a bright sliver brushed matte textured finish (such as the one shown below) to a moody gun-metal metallic gloss.

However beautiful your car, a colour change vehicle wrap can add a whole new dimension to its bodywork; accentuating the curves and detail of the vehicle and making it even more eye-catching.

It seems that grey, not coral, is the new black!
