With our head office and one of our successful vehicle wrapping centres based in Norfolk, we’re pleased to be getting behind the county’s first ever #NorfolkDay (27th July 2018).
And to mark the occasion, we’ve teamed up with a good friend of ours, the super talented Ruddy Muddy, who has created a very unique, one-off piece of artwork, designed to commemorate the day.
At last month’s Royal Norfolk Show, we were thrilled to welcomed Ruddy Muddy to our exhibition stand, where he ‘painted’ a one-off piece of muddy artwork in recognition of Norfolk Day.
A tribute to our beautiful home county, it features George Vancouver (from King's Lynn), Cley Windmill and Nelson's Monument (in Great Yarmouth) and was created live in front of the show crowds.
Now, we’ve laminated the muddy illustration, and are auctioning it off for local children’s charity, Home-Start Norfolk.
Jenny Rope from Totally Dynamic explains: “The bids are rolling in, but there’s still time to make your pledge, and be in with a chance of owning this one-off piece of art, a fun keepsake to remember the first ever Norfolk Day. Ruddy Muddy is a much-celebrated Norfolk artist, and we really hope to raise lots of money for Home-Start, supporting families in need, right here in the county.”
Not so familiar with Ruddy Muddy’s work? Take a look at his Facebook page! And there you’ll see mud-caked vans transformed into beautiful pieces of art. A brilliant portrait artist, Ruddy Muddy has depicted stars including Ed Sheeran, Robbie Williams and Royal newlyweds Harry and Meghan in the past.
Speaking after joining us at the Royal Norfolk Show, he said: “The county has kindly embraced my different type of art and I am so grateful. It was great fun to be at the Royal Norfolk Show with Totally Dynamic, meeting people and creating something special for Norfolk Day that we hope will attract lots of interest, and generate much-needed funds for a small local charity.”
Through an amazing network of volunteers, Home-Start Norfolk supports parents, with children aged five and under, where Mum, Dad or both are struggling to cope for a wide range of reasons.
Helen Brown, funding manager from Home-Start Norfolk adds; “We’re so thankful to Totally Dynamic for choosing us for the Norfolk Day auction. Families throughout the county need our support. Our services are currently over-subscribed and every penny means we can continue to help families in need, right here in Norfolk.”
To bid for Ruddy Muddy’s Norfolk Day artwork, email firstname.lastname@example.org before midnight on 18th July 2018, stating your bid amount, full name and a contact telephone number.
