Totally Dynamic’s Birmingham franchise is owned by 26 year-old Chris Taylor of Hinckley, Leicestershire. Originally a semi-professional mountain biker who represented the UK at competitions worldwide, Chris’s cycling career was cut short after he suffered an injury to a hamstring in 1998. He then went to the US to work as a sales representative for a major mountain bike manufacturer.

Arriving back in the UK in 2003, Chris began working in sales and marketing for a large printers in Lutterworth. It is here that he became aware of the growing demand for vehicle wrapping in the UK – with businesses increasingly branding fleets of company cars, buses and promotional vehicles.

His research showed him that not only was Totally Dynamic the only vehicle wrapping franchise in the UK but that they offered the very latest high quality wrapping technology and most comprehensive service, so he approached them to set up its Birmingham operation. After specialist training from the Totally Dynamic head office team, he opened Totally Dynamic's 3,600 square foot premises on the Spitfire Park, near Fort Dunlop at the end of January 2007.

In his first month of opening Chris has already helped to wrap a fleet of 14 cars for American estate agent Costar, which is just starting up its UK operation, and also 9 double-decker buses for Plymouth Council.

Chris Taylor says: "This is one of the most exciting new businesses around. The possibilities of what we can do are mind-boggling. We could decorate a restaurant chain’s fleet of company vehicles with mouth-watering images of the dishes it serves or simply change the colour of someone's vehicle.

"We could help a jewellery shop display its glittering wares on the side of a company car or fully wrap the official vehicles of Birmingham City or Aston Villa football clubs. Birmingham's roads are about to get a whole lot more colourful!"
